Born in Lexington and raised in New Orleans, Lillie got her start as a multimedia storyteller in Los Angeles, CA. She moved to Lexington in 2005 and received a degree in Multimedia Journalism through the University of Kentucky. As an award-winning storyteller, Lillie found her calling in community-impact storytelling while at KET. From there she moved into the political realm, working with leaders across the commonwealth and nationally. Helping People Who Help People is both her professional and personal philosophy. 

When she’s not working, she can be found hiking with her wife, supporting local artists, or cooking something garlicky and spicy.
